NM MILITARY LEGACY PROJECT The New Mexico Military Legacy Project was created by New Mexico Department of Veterans’ Services (NMDVS) Cabinet Secretary John M. Garcia to preserve the state’s rich military tradition. New Mexico consistently ranks among the top states nationwide in percentage of a state’s population which serve in the military. The NMDVS has contracted with independent movie production companies to produce documentary movies showing this outstanding commitment to military service…and the sacrifice which New Mexicans have historically made when serving our country in times of war. But these documentaries are more than just movies. They’re an educational tool which future generations can learn about what their ancestors have endured in order to preserve our freedom as American citizens. All New Mexico Military Legacy Project movies can be purchased for $4 apiece.
